To improve your Joggo experience on Xiaomi, check out the following settings.
Important settings
App pinning / App locking
- Open the recent apps tray.
- Drag the Joggo app downwards (it will be locked).
Now, even if you clear recent apps, it will not clear Joggo from the background.
On some phones, you need to long-press Joggo and then choose the padlock icon from the menu.
MIUI 12
To let Joggo run in the background, make sure the settings for your app look like the following:
- Settings > Apps > Joggo > Autostart enabled.
- Settings > Apps > Joggo > Battery saver > No restrictions selected.
On MIUI 11
To let Joggo run in the background, make sure the settings for your app look like the following:
- Settings > Apps > Joggo > Battery saver > No restrictions selected.
MIUI 10 and older
To let Joggo run in the background, make sure the settings for your app look like the following:
- Settings > Apps > Joggo > Battery saver (or background settings) > No restrictions selected
Power management
Some other settings that are important to help avoid Joggo from falling asleep.
Power plan:
- Open your phone's Settings.
- Go to Advanced Settings > Battery manager
- Set the Power plan to Performance
Protect the Joggo app:
- Open your phone's Settings.
- Go to Advanced Settings > Battery manager > Protected apps.
- The Joggo app needs to be Protected
Joggo battery settings:
- Open your phone's Settings.
- Go to Apps > Joggo > Battery
- Enable Power-intensive prompt and Keep running after screen off
Saving power restrictions:
- Open your phone's settings.
- Go to Additional Settings > Battery & Performance > Manage apps' battery usage.
- Switch Power Saving Modes to Off
- Choose the next options: Saving Power in The Background > Choose apps > Joggo > Background Settings > No restrictions.
